Spice Girls bola dievčenská skupina z Londýna. Za svoju kariéru predala viac ako 55 miliónov hudobných nosičov. Vznikla roku 1994 v zložení Melanie Chisholm, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Victoria Adams a Michelle Stephenson. Posledná menovaná skupinu opustila a na jej miesto prichádza Emma Bunton.
V polovici roku 1996 vyšiel singel „Wannabe“ a s ním obrovský úspech nie len ve Veľkej Británii, ale i v Európe a USA. Ich debutový album „Spice“ sa stal najpredávanejším albumom roku 1997. Toho istého roku vyšlo ich druhé cd s názvom „Spice World“ a nadväzuje na úspechy predošlého. Dokonca vytvorilo i nový rekord v predaji – za dva týždne sa predalo viac ako 7 milionov kópií.
Rok 1998 bol pre skupinu zlomový. Odišla Geri Halliwel a dievčatá pokračovali už len vo štvorke, až do roku 2000 kedy vydali svoj posledný album „Forever“.
